This is one of the most original ideas I have seen to RuneScape gold reimplement dueling. I like the notion of a grand exchange-like system, and it induces RWTing to be very risky. However, Real World Trading would still be possible, and there would be several tactics to circumvent the system.
The biggest problem I see is that the staking of items. A participant purchasing a blue phat from an illegal RWTing sight may face some trouble getting their trader in a duel, but a participant who requests a stake of a blue phat, adamant warhammer, and red bead may not. This combination would be quite so arbitrary and improbable there would be little to no chance of the participant not getting the RWTer he is purchasing from within a duel.
The best method to prevent this is to simply permit specific items to be staked, or not to allow stakes of multiple products. Money could be staked, and common things like whips, phats, ans h’ween masks (items traditionally staked), however the sum would be pre-set (gamers could not stake odd amounts like 4,397,031gp) and uncommonly staked things like colored beads could not be contained in precisely the exact same bet as big amounts of cash or rare/expensive products.
Another problem I see with your idea is that several players wouldn’t enjoy the probability of it. As you would not be able to find out exactly what armor your participant was wearing, if they were determined or maging, or even their precise level (your thought outlines a set of near levels, but maybe not an specific level) gamers might be scared to bet large quantities, because the level of the competitor says very little about these.
You might have followed us this far, but your trail ends here! The Mage of Zamorak and Taurus will teleport away, leaving you to fight four level 103 vampires (it will be multi-combat). Among the vampires, however, will cast blood rush onto you, but won’t cure himself, but instead the vampire using the most harm taken. Slay each of the vampires. There will be a brief cutscene.
