I wish they would have polls and take a peek at building, but is is not likely to occur anytime soon. At this point, I’m pretty sure that Jagex intentionally designs frustrations into Runescape just to gate articles. It goes all the way with this agility shortcut just south of Varrock that should have been an opening, to the start OSRS gold. I know, there are several things and QOL changes which they can make to make Runescapeplay loop like if you”fix” a feature, you shouldn’t need to interact with it to undergo it, it’s already”fixed”.
I’m pretty certain that frustrations are intentionally designed by Jagex into Runescape just to gate content. This was definitely a key gameplay mechanism (as well as infinite grinding) back when the Gowers first started Runescape and during at least its first dozen years. Since that time, they learned that gameplay on being a pita, based doesn’t work for sustainability. I came back to Runescape before this year after a break. It has been impressive to see how much they have been performing to eliminate annoyance mechanics from Runescape as a whole. Having a 20 year history, it’s obviously going to require over a couple of years to enhance it all, but their current dev team and direction appear to be going in the right direction.
Hopefully, you’ll be seeing more and more attempts to reduce the forms of frustrations you’re speaking about in the future. Well, this idea was initially something the RS3 devs toyed around without a clue whatever happened with it likely got left on one of the shelves. Secondly, OSRS takes a ton of articles from RS3 and makes it better in OSRS, the elite slayer creatures were in RS3 and therefore are in OSRS and provide much better xp and special drops is one I can think of off top of my mind, I am sure anyone else could attest to the same. Not mad about it because it created OSRS better but it’s annoying that they can take things out of us and also make then better and our devs don’t see tweak and that what we’ve already got.
But I don’t want to see construction surveys won’t be got by us. Instead, I’d want to find a rework of this PoH. Jagex have refused to get the PoH codebase ever since the launch of building, because the codebase is a wreck. Proceed why the skill has obtained extremely few updates since launch, and Jagex keeps bringing up structure. There has been attempts to improve the PoH, for example by allowing for hotspots to be moved around, however this (TAP?) Never got testing, from what I could tell. It is buggy, obsolete, and most of the ability unlocks that attempt to be useful have not been so for the better part of a couple of years.
Sounds interesting but I do not believe we need just a new activity we want an whole reworking of this skill. I’m really a big fan of the concept of blending the town reworks with the construction rework and the skill being about fixing up the little and broken down cities of the world, expanding and improving their material. City building could be amazing. I like Anachronia’s foundation building, they ought to measure that up. I would like this but I’m afraid of it consisting of the same,”set x functions for y source, then wait for z days in order for it to max out”. I’d really rather be earning resources or obtaining them in Runescape game via collecting abilities, processing them through artisan skills, and helping build a market back up. Just to learn that we left a boo-boo with that we aligned with politically so we don’t get any wealth advantage, but are still able to train there. Why shouldn’t I pay someone to get it done? Is avoiding 8 hours of distress. I’m not competing with anyone, so I don’t feel as though I cheated anybody. I really don’t see any value in being gloomy for 8 hours, so I don’t think because it skipped my cape will be worth less to me personally. If I’d paid for it that the only outcome could have been for me to appreciate Runescape more. What is the Issue?
